Worktop Table & Scroll Saw Stand
A simple work table made from 2x4 joists and a 35mm thick kitchen worktop.
Apart from mounting the worktop this robust work table is held together entirely by glue and 19mm dowels. I chose to practice my pantograph copy carving on the legs by following an anchor rode pattern drawn in sketchup printed out and attached to the legs with double sided tape. The extremely cheap 2x4 joists were so open grain that it was a bit of a battle not following it but overall Im quite please with the outcome.
The table consumed around 9m of 2 x 4 and given that the worktop was free the total cost was only around £15.
The free plans also include a design for a matching Scroll Saw Stand:-
